Inventions – Peregrine

If you like your music ambient yet haunting, then the latest video from Inventions should be of interest to you.

Peregrine is six minutes of piano driven electronica that is as dark and forboding as it is beatiful. Inventions is the collaboration of Matthew Cooper (Eluvium) and Mark T. Smith (Explosions in the Sky – not to be confused with Mark E. Smith of The Fall), and is taken from their latest album Maze of Wood, which is out now on Temporary Residence Records.

Give it a listen, give the video a watch (below) and revel in the wonderful soundscapes that Inventions have created.

Once you’ve done that, you can check the remix from The Field.
