London quartet Ice Baths have dropped their latest single Relic, ahead of their self-titled debut album’s release on the 11th of May.
Their take on post-punk is angular and minimalistic, giving a crisp sound that allows the music to shimmer and shine despite the lyrical content.
Relics is a bit of a slow burn, with the energy and effervescence kicking in after the two-minute mark. When it hits, it changes gear and becomes a real head-nodder of a track.
The single and the album will both be released on Blank Editions, which is also home to Thurston Moore And Housewives.
