Youth Killed It – What’s So Great, Britain?

Football can serve to bring us together. See 1990 and 1996. In 2018 Youth Killed It are using football to underscore the differences that British society faces right now.

In What’s So Great, Britain? Jack Murphy (guitar and vocals), Carlos Montero and Josh Arter-Taylor on Guitar, Josh Thexton on Bass and Ben Ford on Drums walk around in Home Nations football shirts commenting on the political, social, and economic climate in the UK whilst pouring scorn on the “Two World Wars and one World Cup” mentality of some English people.

Nevertheless What’s So Great, Britain? contains hope for the future, and a desire to be part of the change that would bring the Home Nations together for the better. It’s a dose of optimism that is sorely missing.
